I have always been athletic and performed many different exercise programs (as well as instructing); however, AB Performance tops the list, which combines multiple forms of exercises into ONLY one hour of the day. There is no need to spend hours at the local gyms when one hour, a few days a week will ultimately override the old workout routine. I started earlier this year and found my results to be quite surprising. The kettle bells, ropes, and resistance bands look intimidating but the quarters I am able to bounce off my BOOTY is amazing. “I’ve been a member at Atlantic Beach Performance for a little over 2 months. I’m amazed at my results in such a short amount of time. My clothes fit better and I feel stronger & better about myself. I’m not a morning person and I actually want to wake up and get to the 5:30am class. That speaks volumes! Mark makes the classes fun….definitely challenging….but so much fun. I feel 1,000 times better every day that I come to bootcamp. I have more energy, I eat better. I can concentrate more. Last night I was being adventurous and decided to get on the scale. I have lost 5 pounds since last weekend!!! So I was even more adventurous and decided to try on some old clothes that I haven’t worn since last winter, and I found 2 pairs of jean that didn’t fit me before, that do now! “Hi my name is Erlinda V Lopez, I have been working with Mark and his bootcamp for the past 3 months and have seen results that I have never seen in any other physical activity I have been involved in. I have worked out in gyms, taken classes and have not been able to be at the physical level that I wanted to be in.

My first goal in taking the bootcamp is to pass my Air Force Physical Fitness test. Without passing this test I would not be able to be promoted, enroll in training classes or even stay in the military. So when I started working out I had passing the test in mind. I actually was hoping to score better on my Novembers PT test.

I was excited that I passed with no problems. I actually did great on the run which has always been a problem for me in the past.

I believe that I will see more results in the near future and I absolutely love the group exercise and all the different challenges the boot camp workout provides.”

“My jeans are fitting a little looser!”

“First of all, I have never stuck with any type of exercise plan for more than a few weeks. I had a gym membership 4 years ago, but after the first month, I was just giving them money for no reason because I was not going. Since I’ve started bootcamp, I’ve been motivated to continue working out. When I leave boot camp on Monday, I know I’ll be back Wednesday and Friday. I feel like you expect me to be there, so I am more motivated to come. After 6 weeks, I can’t imagine not doing this in the morning. I have more energy during the day, which I need as a teacher. I feel so much better about myself. My husband is so proud of me for going. He’s making comments like, “I’m going to have to start working out so I can keep up with you … Those workouts are really making a difference… You look slim and trim.” It is nice to know that people are noticing the results…especially my husband. My jeans are fitting a little looser and I can’t wait to drop a size. Thank you for motivating me to get in the best shape I’ve ever been in. I can’t wait to see what I look like in a few more months!!!”

“I have started to feel more firm, I have lost about 3-4 pounds!”

“My goals starting boot camp about 1 month ago were to lose about 10 pounds, have a flat stomach (for the 1st time in my life) and look good and feel comfortable in my bathingsuit- basically all of the things that I always thought would be nice but never were really achievable.

So far in this short time- I have started to feel more firm, I have lost about 3-4 pounds, i have stopped drinking diet sodas and sweetners- and now drink only water and see a margarita as a real splurge and this change is because the boot camp workout kicks my butt and if i am going to work that hard every morning i am not going to ruin it for a glass of wine and i know if i bring good things into my body then i give out better performance at boot camp (and it hurts less= which is a good thing)

The most visible change was a surprise to me- as i glanced over my shoulder in the mirror – i saw that i have no more cellulite dots on my thighs and butt- WOW~

I still want to focus on my agility, sprints and triceps- and know that i will be down to the weight i want with a flat belly …. afterall it has only been one month and already there are results= so i am excited! THANKS for everything!

I must say that when I signed up for your class, I didn’t necessarily imagine sticking with it. I needed to do SOMETHING to kick in an exercise routine for myself, so I gave it a try. First class…a little humbling when I could not do a single push up. It was tough. But when evening rolled around, I was feeling anxious for the next class already. 1. Instructor rocks – Mark Avens knows his stuff, is high energy, and is committed to helping each and every one of his clients achieve his/her goals.

2. Never get bored – With every day different, the interval and whole body exercises intermixed with strength, endurance, and cardio training, you never get bored and look forward to the next class.

3. Long term investment in my body – Without a doubt, I am making a long term investment in my body. After hitting forty, I knew I needed to do something more for my body if I wanted to keep up with my kids and be able to chase my grandkids in the future

4. Starts my day out right – By attending the 5:30-6:30am bootcamp class, I start my day out right. I “pay myself first” by going to exercise early in the morning and have completed the hardest part of my day by 6:30am and feel terrific afterwards – both physically and emotionally because I have accomplished something real.

5. Higher energy – Even with going to class so early, I have way more energy than I have had in the past. Specifically, I have more energy and patience with my kids after school and don’t crave that late afternoon coffee.

6. Achieves results – In addition to more energy, I feel healthier and more fit. I can do more and more with each class like push-ups.

“I have been in reasonably good shape my whole life and excercize is a part of my lifestyle. But… as my size got bigger, I attributed it to age and kind of accepted it.
